Daffodils

Daffodils are a funny flower. I saw a single daffodil poking up out of a corner the other day and I actually laughed out loud it looked so ridiculous. Daffodils are like cartoon ducks. I can almost hear them quack. You can’t help but love them and think them silly all at once.

i think you can also make salald out of the greens, if im not being totally stupid and confusing them with anothe plant in my head.

Dandelions are the most common flower that people eat. Some people eat daffodil leaves for sure, but there is debate on the intarweb as to whether this is actually safe. They might be poisonous? I’m not sure. Neither is Google.

i was thinking of dandelions… my great grandmother used to make dandelion salad until my papou, her son in law, bought a lawn service for her that put poison down to kill the dandelions. She was not happy about it.

But yeah, she used to pick her own and make salad. it’d be fun to do that at some point.
